Installing Sound System For My Car

Learn how to install a mobile phone audio system.

This is probably a rather unusual way to make or install a sound system.
I use 2 Acoustic A-1082-2 10" subwoofers rated at 300 watts.


150mm thick plywood/hardboard is sufficient for the mounting area, which I coated with wood glue and finished with a combination of black and red paint.
For the crossover, I used Hokutone HN-3 3-way 8 ohms that belonged to an old Tapedeck speaker saloon. The active crossover uses Lanzar Vibe X6 3-way crossover electronics.


Power amp, I use an American Boss 3000 watt class A/B 4 channel ABS-435 amp.
The resulting installation looks like the image below:


As for the quality of the sound produced, it turns out that there is always a problem with the power supply of the source. It looks like it should be supported by a thunder capacitor and a special power line directly from the battery to the power amp.

The main unit is made in China and is a RockFox brand RF-905. A USB and MMC port is already available.
